τ' αποτσίγαρα ανθίζουν κι ευωδιάζουν τις νύχτες.
Στα λασπωμένα χαντάκια αρχαία φορτηγά
στον αιώνα δοξάζουν την Αγία Σκουριά.
Κρότοι αιωρούνται στην εξοχή
με μιάν αλαφράδα πλασματική.
Απ' αυτούς τους διαδρόμους, απ' αυτές τις οδούς
κανείς δε διαβαίνει παρά μόνο νεκρός.
